This petite sterling brooch is a Dutch piece from around 1815 (tiny little hallmarking), with an old cut European diamond right in the center, roses all around. Tiny diamonds are also scattered around the outer band of the brooch.
Jewelry of this period from Scandinavian nations are not the same stylistically as mainland Europe. Europe favored gold - the Dutch and Netherlands, etc., more extensively used silver paired with their gemstones.
Diameter 2.8cms.

Diamonds appear bright, likely from a larger piece and converted to a brooch.
