This collection of natural shells, artistically elevated to make nature even more stunning. The profits for these shells are a fundraiser, helping us care for women and children in Afghanistan who've suffered under the Taliban via Our Culture is Giving, a 501(c)(3) organization. Further, the funds help us develop a program here in the Washington DC area with Precipice Theater Team to share the written poems and short stories that the women and girls in Afghanistan have shared with us.

Each shell is thoughtfully crafted to highlight its natural beauty and uniqueness:
Features of the shells vary but can include:
- pearlized shell interior with decoupage and collage from handmade rice paper, imported from Italy.
- most shells include a natural fresh water pearl or other stone as listed.
- delicately hand-painted shell trim work with shimmering 24k liquid gold leaf.
- natural back. The shell back remains untreated to showcase the shell’s raw, organic texture and variations in color. Some shells have 24k gold accenting the natural shell ridges.
Ethically sourced oyster shells (found washed up, without a resident creature) are coated in multiple layers of water-resistant varnish to preserve its beauty. However, it is not waterproof—avoid submerging shells in water, as the natural back remains unsealed and porous.
