Substantial statement piece to say the least. This is majestic and is an Etruscan revival style. This is fully original and unmarked but due to the elaborate designs on the reverse side of the main pendant, this is likely from the late 1800s.
Etruscan revival jewelry came into fashion due to archaeological findings which deeply inspired art and fashion. This trend lasted from approximately 1850 to 1900.
From continental Europe. Late 19th C.
Mixed metal alloy. Doesn’t really tarnish. Intact and original.
Central pendant measures 4.5 inches. The full wearable length of the necklace is 22 inches excluding the length of the pendant.
